Our school organised cleanliness drive under Swachh Bharat – Swachhata Pakhwara campaign launched by Centre Govt. From 1 to 15 September, 2019. The main purpose of this program was to create awareness among the students regarding cleanliness and its benefits. The campaign started with Swachhata Shapath taken by all the students promising themselves to keep their school clean.

Various  activities like group song, dance, skits, speech were performed to spread awareness  among the students. Students also participated enthusiastically in cleaning the surroundings of the school. Rallies were also taken out to nearby places where the students and teachers participated actively. Further we had another event of plantation in which the students planted saplings in appropriate places in the surroundings. Various messages on cleanliness were exhibited through the charts made by the students. All the students expressed their views on cleanliness in letter writing competition.

Prize distribution function was organised in which students were appreciated by the Principal Mr K S Guleria for their active participation and making this event successful. He also motivated the students regarding the hygiene and clean environment which is a necessity for betterment of our society. Certificates of appreciation were also given away by the Principal to the students.
