School Seminars
Teaching as a profession has undergone significant transformation in recent years. Adapting to these changes—especially in the post-Covid era—has become a key challenge for educators. Keeping in mind the evolving needs of learners, DAV places teacher empowerment as its topmost priority, believing that only empowered teachers can truly empower students.

Teacher Empowerment Programmes (TEPs) for educators of Classes X and XII are a regular feature at DAV. Additionally, Five-Day Capacity Building Programmes (CBPs) are conducted for teachers from Pre-Nursery to Class X. For senior secondary educators, Personality Enrichment and Enhancement Programmes are also held regularly.
In-house team sessions, Progressive Schools Council meetings, CBSE workshops, and webinars conducted by NCERT and other recognized agencies contribute to the continuous enrichment of teachers’ professional skills throughout the year.
Empowered teachers are given both autonomy and access. They have the freedom to use diverse resources, take creative risks, and implement innovative teaching methods. The school management and leadership provide ongoing encouragement and support for both personal and professional growth, which is essential for success in education.
The workshops and webinars focus on the following objectives:
● To improve teachers’ subject knowledge and understanding of complex curriculum concepts
● To enable effective classroom implementation of the curriculum and enhance students’ critical thinking skills
● To promote active, experiential learning with a child-centred, holistic approach ● To expose teachers to innovative teaching methodologies
To foster Continuous Professional Development (CPD) through collaboration with peers
